John Corbin
John Corbin thumbnail
John Corbin As I was taken to the hospital wondering if I would walk out or be carried, an overwhelming peace swept over me that, no matter what happened, one day I would be in the presence of God. Just a few months later I went to Worship God '17 and heard this song. It is the perfect artistic personification of that peace. Favorite track: When We See Your Face.

Richard Argawanon Great songs with amazing lyrics.
Timothy Harrelson
Timothy Harrelson thumbnail
Timothy Harrelson Musically rich, arrangements that fill the audio spectrum, and lyrics that enable me to put into words joys, fears, and griefs too complex to articulate - all pointing to the supremacy of Jesus Christ. Favorite track: Forgiven.
Stephen Neal

Longing.
Interceding.
Anticipating.

One day the waiting will be over, every wrong will be made right, and all creation will bow before the returning King and Savior, Jesus Christ. Until then, we praise… we trust...we hope...we pray, knowing that the God who gave his only Son to redeem a people for himself will never go back on his promises.

Who can light the fires
Of a thousand burning suns
Blazing in the heavens?

Silencing His rivals?
There is only One
He is our God, He is our God

CHORUS 1

Who would come to save us
When we turned away His love
Conquer us with kindness?

Holy, You alone are holy
Matchless in Your glory, no one is like You
Worthy, You alone are worthy
We adore You only, holy God

Track Name: All Praise to Him
VERSE 1
All praise to Him, the God of light
Who formed the mountains by His might
All praise to Him Who names the stars
That sing His fame in skies afar
All praise to Him Who reigns in love
Who guides the galaxies above
Yet bends to hear our every prayer
With sovereign pow’r and tender care

VERSE 2
All praise to Him whose love is seen
In Christ the Son, the Servant King
Who left behind His glorious throne
To pay the ransom for His own
All praise to Him Who humbly came
To bear our sorrow, sin, and shame
Who lived to die, Who died to rise
The all-sufficient sacrifice

VERSE 3
All praise to Him whose pow’r imparts
The love of God within our hearts
The Spirit of all truth and peace
The fount of joy and holiness
To Father, Son, and Spirit now
Our souls we lift, our wills we bow
To You, the triune God, we raise
With loving hearts our song of praise

Based on the hymn, “All Praise to Him Who Built the Hills” by Horatius Bonar (1808-1889). Music and additional words by Matt Merker and Bob Kauflin. © 2017 Sovereign Grace Praise (BMI)
Track Name: Forgiven
VERSE 1
Lord, forgive us for our pride
When our faith becomes a show
Dressed in righteous deeds to hide
All the stains below
We have judged Your sons and daughters
For the sin that is our own
May we now forgive each other
And lay down our stones

CHORUS
Forgiven, forgiven
Through the blood of Christ
We are forgiven

VERSE 2
Lord, forgive us for our love
Of the things we wish to own
We forsake the feast above
For all the crumbs below
Though You’ve made us sons and daughters
We do not the world disown
May we find our greatest treasure
Is in You alone

VERSE 3
Lord, forgive us for our shame
When we can’t release the past
When we’re quick to take the blame
But forget we’re free at last
We avoid Your sons and daughters
For the fear we don’t belong
Give us eyes to see each other
Through Your only Son

Track Name: Lord, Have Mercy
VERSE 1
O God, we come before Your throne
And in our weakness we confess
We go astray and sin each day;
We cast ourselves upon Your grace
O Lord, have mercy on us,
Sinners in need of grace
Forgive us our transgressions
And lead us in Your righteous ways
God, lead us in Your righteous ways

VERSE 2
The blood You shed has paid our debts;
Jesus, You’ve washed our sins away
We trust Your grace, believe by faith
In You we have all righteousness
O Lord, You’ve shown us mercy;
Sinners are washed as saints
You’ve shown Your loving-kindness;
Sons of disgrace are righteous made
Sons of disgrace are righteous made

VERSE 3
We fix our eyes on You, our prize
Jesus, the Author of our faith
Till You return or bring us home
You strengthen us to run the race
O Lord, forever faithful
All glory to Your Name!
We have no other Savior
Our great Redeemer, God and King
Jesus, Redeemer, God and King

Music by Marc Willerton, Words by Marc Willerton and Jordan Kauflin © 2017 Sovereign Grace Praise (BMI)/Sovereign Grace Worship (ASCAP)
Track Name: O Lord, My Rock and My Redeemer
VERSE 1
O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer
Greatest treasure of my longing soul
My God, like You there is no other
True delight is found in You alone
Your grace, a well too deep to fathom
Your love exceeds the heavens’ reach
Your truth, a fount of perfect wisdom
My highest good and my unending need

VERSE 2
O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer
Strong defender of my weary heart
My sword to fight the cruel deceiver
And my shield against his hateful darts
My song when enemies surround me
My hope when tides of sorrow rise
My joy when trials are abounding
Your faithfulness, my refuge in the night

VERSE 3
O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer
Gracious Savior of my ruined life
My guilt and cross laid on Your shoulders
In my place You suffered bled and died
You rose, the grave and death are conquered
You broke my bonds of sin and shame
O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer
May all my days bring glory to Your Name

Music and Words by Nathan Stiff © 2017 Sovereign Grace Worship (ASCAP)
Track Name: Give Me Jesus
VERSE 1
Take the world, but give me Jesus
All its joys are but a name
But His love abides forever
Through eternal years the same

VERSE 2
Take the world, but give me Jesus
Sweetest comfort of my soul
With my Savior watching o’er me
I can sing though billows roll

CHORUS
Oh, the height and depth of mercy
Oh, the length and breadth of love
Oh, the fullness of redemption
Pledge of endless life above
Take this world, my God’s enough!

VERSE 3
Take the world, but give me Jesus
In His cross my trust shall be
Till with clearer, brighter vision
Face to face my Lord I see

BRIDGE
Take this world and give me Jesus
In His cross my trust shall be
Take this world and give me Jesus
Till that day my Lord I see

Track Name: A Christian's Daily Prayer
VERSE 1
As morning dawns and day awakes,
To You I bring my need
O gracious God, my source of strength,
In You I live and breathe
Each hour is Yours by wisdom planned,
Each deed empowered by sovereign hands
Renew my spirit, help me stand;
Be glorified today

VERSE 2
As day unfolds, I seek Your will
In all of life’s demands
And though the tempter tries me still,
I cling to Your commands
Let every effort of my life
Display the matchless worth of Christ
Make me a living sacrifice;
Be glorified today

VERSE 3
As sun gives way to darkest night
Your Spirit still is here
And though my strength fades like the light
New mercies will appear
I rest in You; abide with me
Until our trials and suffering
Give way to final victory
Be glorified, today; be glorified, I pray

Track Name: I Lay It All
VERSE 1
When troubles come, when darkness crowds
When fortunes fail and loss surrounds
My soul is weak, but Christ is strong
And so to Him I leave it all
For He Who holds all things
Can bear each care I bring

CHORUS
So, I lay it all on Jesus
Steadfast is the love of Jesus
He hears my cry, He’s faithful
I lay it all on Jesus

VERSE 2
When questions rise, when faith wears thin
When fears come fast, and truth grows dim
The One Who saved will not forsake
I’ll trust His word and trust His way
For He Who bore my blame
Can bear each care I name

BRIDGE
I am weak; You are strong
Jesus, come and take it all
All my cares I cast on You

TAG
I lay it all, I lay it all on Jesus

Music and Words by Mary Smith © 2017 Sovereign Grace Praise (BMI)
Track Name: O God of Mercy, Hear Our Plea
VERSE 1
O God, we’ve seen Your faithfulness
You brought us from the wilderness
But now our faith is frail and weak
O God of mercy, hear our plea

VERSE 2
When will You comfort our distress?
How long until the promised rest?
We cry to You from deepest need
O God of mercy, hear our plea

CHORUS
Abba, Father, our Redeemer
In this barren land be our hope and strength
Until glory we will trust and sing
Abba, Father, hear our plea

VERSE 3
We join creation’s longing groan
To take Your ransomed children home
For then the eyes of all will see
The God of mercy hears our plea

Music and Words by Brittany Kauflin and Matt Merker © 2017 Sovereign Grace Praise (BMI)
Track Name: How Long, O Lord
VERSE 1
Every valley will be lifted high
And the weak will be the strong
When You come like lightning in the sky
How long, O Lord, how long?

VERSE 2
Kings on earth will scatter when they hear
Thundering sounds of angel songs
Hearts will tremble, filled with holy fear
How long, O Lord, how long?

CHORUS
All our hopes are fixed on You
That Your promises are true
And one day You will return
All our treasures here will fade
So, we long to see Your face
Until then our hearts will burn
How long, O Lord?

VERSE 3
You will conquer every evil thing
Every sorrow, pain, and wrong
They will cease with Your return, our King
How long, O Lord, how long?

TAG
How long, O Lord? (How long, O Lord?)

Music and Words by Doug Plank © 2017 Sovereign Grace Worship (ASCAP)
Track Name: We Look to You
VERSE 1
Deliver us from evil, Lord;
We sojourn in a broken world
Though evil hands give rise to war,
Remind us this is not our home
We look to You, we look to You,
Sovereign King of all the earth
We look to You, we look to You;
In Your strength we will endure
In Your strength we will endure

VERSE 2
Deliver us from evil, Lord;
Our hearts so quickly run astray
Temptation crouching at the door
To turn us from the narrow way
We look to You, we look to You,
Christ the conquering Son of God
We look to You, we look to You;
Lord, complete what You’ve begun
Lord, complete what You’ve begun

VERSE 3
Deliver us from evil, Lord;
The devil’s seeking to devour
With trembling hearts we hear his roar,
But Your strong arm will crush his pow’r
We look to You, we look to You,
Come and end his earthly reign
We look to You, we look to You;
Lord, deliver us, we pray

TAG
We look to You, we look to You
You will come again to reign
We look to You, we look to You
All the earth will bow in praise

Music and Words by Joel Sczebel and Matt Searles © 2017 Sovereign Grace Praise (BMI)/Sovereign Grace Worship (ASCAP)
Track Name: When We See Your Face
VERSE 1
Though the dark is overwhelming
And the brightest lights grow dim
Though the Word of God
Is trampled on by foolish men
Though the wicked never stumble
And abound in every place
We will all be humbled when we see Your face

VERSE 2
And the demons we’ve been fighting
Those without and those within
Will be underneath our feet
To never rise again
All our sins will be behind us
Through the blood of Christ erased
And we’ll taste Your kindness when we see Your face

BRIDGE
We will see, we will know
Like we’ve never known before
We’ll be found, we’ll be home
We’ll be Yours forevermore

VERSE 3
All the waiting will be over
Every sorrow will be healed
All the dreams it seemed
Could never be will all be real
And You’ll gather us together
In Your arms of endless grace
As Your Bride forever when we see Your face

TAG
And You’ll gather us together
In your arms of endless grace
As Your Bride forever when we see Your face

Music and Words by Bob Kauflin and Jordan Kauflin © 2017 Sovereign Grace Praise (BMI)
Track Name: Come, Lord Jesus
VERSE 1
When the war is over and the battles are done
We shall see our Savior shining like the sun
Every tear He will dry, every shadow will flee
All those in Christ Jesus will be made complete
Will be made complete

CHORUS
Come, Lord Jesus
Listen to creation groan
Come, Lord Jesus
Come and take Your people home

VERSE 2
Every tongue will praise Him, every knee will bow
When we see our Savior riding on the clouds
Riding on the clouds

Now we see in part, then we’ll see in full
Your glory, Jesus, will satisfy our souls
