NOTES ON THIS CHART
This arrangement is based on the Sovereign Grace Music recording from Prepare Him Room. This chart includes an extended ending more appropriate for congregational singing, but by skipping the repeat at measure 51 and going directly to the second ending, the form of the chart matches the recording exactly. A full orchestration is provided in the preferred key of G, as well as the original key of A. The recording has extensive use of percussion, but this chart can be played by a more conventional rhythm section following the directions provided. Drums can be used for the “military percussion” effects on the recording.
Secondary keyboards can be used to simulate chimes and bells using the provided Percussion part as a guide.
Chart form: Intro-V1-C-Intro-V2-C-Intro-V3-C-V4-C-Tag
Recording form: Intro-V1-C-Intro-V2-C-Intro-V3-C-Tag (skip repeat of 51, go directly to the 2nd ending)
